

Born April 30, 1957 in Peoria to Lawrence Benjamin "Pete" and Doris Virginia Rusk Hutton, he married Jody Worth Walker on February 27, 1999 in Green Valley.
Surviving are his wife; 1 daughter, Jaye Linn Hutton of Pekin; 1 son, Craig Douglas Hutton of Lexington, North Carolina; 2 step-daughters, Mary Noll of Creve Coeur and Chelsea Walker of Lexington, North Carolina; 1 step-son, Blayne Walker of Ft. Benning, Georgia (currently serving in Iraq); 1 granddaughter; 3 step-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Marlena (Cary) Woll of Pekin, Karen (Scott) Everhart of Aurora, and Roseanne Hutton of Springfield; 1 brother, David (Melba) Hutton of Green Valley; 4 nieces; 4 nephews; several step-nieces and nephews; and 10 grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
He was employed by Morton Metalcraft for 28 years, last working as the plant manager in Welcome, North Carolina.
Doug was a member of the Center United Methodist Church in Welcome.
His funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2007at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m.,Wednesday, June 27, 2007at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery in Green Valley.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Green Valley Park District or the Green Valley Fire Department.
