I sincerely want to express my wishes of peace to Doug's family.  I was fortunate to have gained Doug as a neighbor and then a friend.  I have wonderful memories of our children spending time together and lots of laughter.  I gained a wonderful friend, Jody, when Doug and her joined their families.  Mary, Jaye, Craig, Blayne, and Chelsea hold special places in my heart.  My expression of peace extends to his sisters, brother and friends. Life is never fair, especially when a young and vital person such as Doug leaves our world to become one of God's Disciples.  He will rest in Peace and we may all be assured that we will meet again.  I've known Doug throug-out his entire career at Metalcraft, and he was truly a gift to us and all of those who knew him.  God Bless you All & may the Good Lord be with you in the many days that lie ahead for you.

mary,jaye,craig,i am so sorry for your loss.he was a good man who brought me in when i had no where else to go.when i finally got a place he offered me advice on how to be on my own.i will always remember him fondly and with great respect.please accept my condolences because i truly know how very hard this is. 

TJ and Cody both wish they could be there for you during this sad time.  All of us are very sorry for your loss.  Doug was a wonderful father, Blayne often told us how grateful he was that Doug came into your lives.  Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was shocked to read Doug's obituary this afternoon.  Ironically, I just ran across a letter you had sent to me and a wonderful photo of you and Doug. You were obviously so happy and as we've discussed so many times over the last 20 or so years, how far we had come. Know that God's love will surround you and your family thru all the people that care so much for you. Always know that though we haven't kept in touch as much as we'd like that more than ever, I want to be there for whatever you need...just to talk, a shoulder to lean on, a hug. Please let me know where to find you so we can keep in touch.  My very deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Jody..... it's been so many years since I've seen you. I was so very sorry to hear of your loss. Cherish the memories the two of you shared and know you will always have a special angel to watch over you. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
