

PEKIN ~ Earleen Kay Nizzia, 50, of 1004 Dell Avenue, passed away at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Pekin Hospital. Born April 20, 1957 in Peoria to Eugene and Effie (Hall) Wyman, she married Keith Holeman in 1973 in Pekin. She later married Jeff Nizzia on December 30, 1984 in Pekin. Surviving are two sons, Ken (Christy Butler) Holeman and Jeff (Ashley) Nizzia, both of Pekin; seven grandchildren, Breann Holeman, McKenna Holeman, Austin Butler, Lilly Johnson, Hope Nizzia, Dennie Nizzia and Jarad Nizzia; four sisters, Elaine Richey, Evonne (Jesse) Johnson, Sue (Darrell) Thompson and Jill (Joe) Nizzia, all of Pekin; three brothers, Eugene (Margie) Wyman, Kenny (Mary Lou) Wyman and John (Julie) Wyman, all of Pekin and one daughter-in-law, Monica Holeman of Pekin.She was preceded in death by her parents and one nephew. Earleen co-owned Ol' Dad's Place in Pekin from 1982 to 1994, where she also tended bar. She also was a school bus driver for the City of Pekin for three years. She was a former member of the Pekin Eagles Aerie 1869 Auxiliary and played on a dart league for several years in Pekin. She loved spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren. They were the highlight of her life. She also enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Shane Hawkins will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
