Eddie Lee Fisher

Born December 9, 1958 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Gerald and Mary (Jackson) Fisher, he married Judy Ledford on December 30, 1982 in Peoria. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Angela Fisher of Washington; two sons, Joseph (Nichole Schertz) Fisher of Creve Coeur and Justin Fisher of Peoria heights; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two step daughters, Jennifer (Jamie) Riggen of Farmington and Melissa (Jason) Peters of Pekin and two brothers, Sonny Fisher of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and Morris Jackson of Bono, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Eddie had worked as a self-employed mechanic for many years.

He enjoyed fishing and drinking a cold beer at his shop with friends. He had a tremendous love for racing his stock car at Peoria Speedway and Farmer City Speedway. Above all else, Eddie loved spending time with his grandchildren.

His memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. There will be no services.
