Born March 18, 1932 in Bartonville to George and Priscilla (Lambie) Curfman, she married Floyd Harold “Jack” Ramsey, Jr. on September 29, 1951 in Pekin. He died March 24, 2004 in Pekin. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Geraldine Hill.
Surviving are two sons, Kevin Ramsey and Floyd “Jack” (Karen) Ramsey, III, both of Pekin; four grandchildren, Jessica (Shane) Mitchell of Peoria, and Melanie Ramsey, J.T. Ramsey, and Tyler Ramsey, all of Pekin; and one great-granddaughter.
A homemaker, Eunice enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of others.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel, where visitation will be on hour before the funeral. The Rev. Bradley Vander Waal will officiate. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
