
Born November 8, 1942 in Pilot Knob, MO to Frank H. and Peggie (Carlock) Green, II, he married Donna Fischer on November 17, 1973 in Manito. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Todd Green of Waterloo, IL and Richard (Shannon) Green of Manito; two daughters, Moncie Van Dyke of Manito and Kelly (Todd) Leadley of Delavan; ten grandchildren; two brothers, Bill (Janice) Green of Manito and Stanley (Brenda) Green of Waterloo, IL and four sisters, Mary Kester of Topeka, Nita Graham of Pekin, Carol (David) Lipe of Havana and Judy (Dan) Voyles of Manito.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Frank H. Green, IV on July 12, 1988 in Manito.
He was a United States Air Force veteran.
Frank worked for Lonza Chemical in Mapleton for twenty-seven years before retiring in 1997.
He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He particularly enjoyed playing his guitar and making beautiful music with his grandchildren. Frank also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
According to Frank's wishes, cremation will be accorded. A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m., Saturday September 17, 2011 at the Valley Chapel on Toboggan Ave. in Green Valley. Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
