Gail L Day

Born August 12, 1956 in Pekin to Howard F. and Ruth E. (Hopkins) Tucker, she married Alan Woll on January 6, 1979 in San Jose. 

Surviving are her mother, Ruth Topper of Pekin; one daughter, Jamie (Peter) Knoble of Pekin; one brother, Richard Aper of Pekin; and one sister, Cathy (Dana) Crawford of Delavan.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She was of the Christian faith.

Gail was a homemaker and had studied elementary education.  She loved swimming and was on the swim team when she was in high school.

She loved reading, fishing, football and horses.  She also loved children and traveling out west.

Her graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Lakeview Cemetery.  Rev. Allen Payne will officiate.  Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is in charge of arrangements.
