Gloria Mae Olds

Gloria was born on September 12, 1934 in Peoria, IL to Leroy and Lillian Mae (Moore) Earp, Sr. She married Glen Allen Olds on May 7, 1955 in Peoria, IL. He preceded her in death on June 27, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dean and Wayne; and two sisters, Shirley Hicks and Joyce Harper.

Gloria is survived by her three daughters, Debra Olds, Glenna Olds-Farden and Linda Olds, all of Pekin, IL; two grandchildren, Catherine Clark and Branden Olds; two great-grandchildren, Kyleia Downs and Kaedyn McLeish; one brother, Leroy (Thereasa) Earp, Jr. of Morton, IL; one sister, Wanda (Larry) Cowan of Peoria, IL; one sister-in-law, Shirley “Pete” Earp of Peoria, IL; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Gloria and Glen met when she worked at the Avon Theatre. She later worked for Illinois Bell Telephone as an operator. Gloria was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, bowling on bowling leagues, watching her daughters play softball over the years and she was an avid Cardinal’s fan.

Services will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin. Rev. Mack Clark will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
