Harlie L Brosman, Jr.

Born July 14, 1927 In Denver, Colorado to Harlie L., Sr. and Nina V. (Cunningham) Brosman, he married Dorothy Ann Gill on June 6, 1953 in Paris. She died on May 12, 1999. He also was preceded in death by a sister, Deema Waltz and two brothers, Jerry Brosman and Vernon Brosman.

Surviving are two daughters, Debra (Darwin) Koehler of Princeville and Karen (George) vanHoorebeke of Pontiac; two sons, Harlie Randall Brosman of Pekin and Tim (Diane) Brosman of Dunlap; one sister, Jennie L. Brosman of Lincoln; a brother-in-law, John Waltz of Chrisman; a sister-in-law, Lois Brosman of Marshall; eight grandchildren; eight-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He and his wife owned and operated restaurants in Peoria and Bureau County for 40 years.

His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2007at the Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall. The Rev. David Deal will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral Thursday at the funeral home in Marshall. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Martinsville.
