She was formerly of Pekin.
Born April 7, 1975 in Pekin to Keith and Roberta (Power) Weber, she married Tony Lynn Slagel on July 6, 1996 in Pekin.
Surviving are her husband; and one son, Isaiah Slagel of Canton.
Her parents preceded her in death.
She was a 1993 graduate of Pekin Community High School.
Harriett had worked as a caregiver for her mother and also at the Casey’s in Morton.
She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Pekin.
Harriett enjoyed scrapbooking andcrafts. She also enjoyed doing things with her son, Isaiah and her nieces and nephews.
Her memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2014 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. Steve Rowell, Sr. will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
