

Born February 21, 1945 in Pekin to Donald J. and Melba B. (Zeine) Tucker, he married Billy Morris on July 31, 1966 in Glasford. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Darell (Michele) Tucker of Mapleton; one daughter, Peggy Allen of Glasford; two grandchildren, Zachary Allen and Katlyn Allen; one brother, Donald (Sue) Tucker of Mapleton; one sister, Judy Heitzman of Mapleton; one brother-in-law, Glenn Theinert of Hanna City and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Janet Theinert; one nephew, Roger Wade Heitzman and three brothers-in-law, Roger Eichorn, John “Bud” Heitzman and Bob Wall.
Butch worked for Keystone Steel & Wire Company in Bartonville for 36 years, retiring in 2001.
Butch enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing card games and having fish fry’s with his family. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and college basketball.
His graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2023 at Lancaster Cemetery in rural Glasford. Pastor Kathy Barrett will officiate.
A gathering will be held following the service at the American Legion Post #35 in Glasford.
