Henry "Randy" Wiseman

Born August 26, 1943 in Peoria to Henry C. and Betty Marie (Laumeier) Wiseman, he married Vikki J. Zander on April 29, 1967 in Creve Coeur.

Surviving is his wife of 57 years; two sons, Mark (Jennifer) Wiseman and Matthew (Dana) Wiseman, both of Pekin; one granddaughter, Kelsi (Dillon) Roy of Pekin; two great-grandchildren, Tinley and Jaxon and one brother, Terry (Karen) Wiseman of Morton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tim Wiseman.

Randy was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a life member and past Commander at the American Legion Post 318 in Morton and was a member of the Tazewell Military Rites Team.

He had worked in East Peoria at Caterpillar, Inc. as an electrician for 30-plus years before retiring in 1999.

Randy was Cub Masters for Pack 83 and Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 85 when his sons were young.

He enjoyed golfing and fishing with his family in Wisconsin and he took great pride in maintaining his yard.

Randy was of the Catholic faith.

A gathering celebrating Randy’s life will be at a later date. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & crematory in Pekin.
