My journey was a short one with you my friend, you inspired me as we talked of our favorite one, God. Your pain has ended. A hand reached for yours and you took hold. I know you were greeted with; "Well done, good and faithful servant."  I am saddened by your early departure, but I know you are whole again.  My condolences go out to your family. One day we will meet again....

I am moved by your story of Grace and your testimony of Jesus Christ and His impact in your life.  While our paths did not often cross, I have been privileged to know your three daughters, Shannon, Missy, and Angie.  They say the greatest testimony you will leave will be lived out in the life of your children.  If so, you leave an amazing legacy of 3 wonderful girls and their children who love you deeply and hold you in highest honour.  Thank you for your Christian testimony and for giving us 3 incredible young ladies to know and love.  You left a lot behind, but what you have now is better than anyone can fathom.  I can only imagine!  

I know his daughters loved him very much.  What a successful life!  Thoughts and prayers for your family. 

just like to say my heart goes out to you Cindy, ( you're a sweetheart )  and the whole family , and my best buddy Rick . I get this huge lump in my throat just thinking about what to say to you guys . anybody that knows your family loves you. I can honestly think back all the years of Jim, I remember his smiles , and I love it when Rick imitates him and makes me laugh :-) times like these are really hard on the all of ya. Jim knows how much you all love n miss him and is proud of you guys. I I'm thankful for all of ya, n so proud to b a friend of family.  N look forward to the day that I get to see all of your and Jim again in heaven . 

Cindy,we heard of the passing of your husband at church today. I know this must be hard for you and the family. May God just bless you with wonderful memories and give your heart Peace and Comfort. We love you.

I will miss Jim. I have had the honor of working with Jim on many work site locations. Jim was one heck of an operator and person to work with. He was always happy and considerate. He had a certain way with people that made you want to see him again.

I will miss you Jim even though we had not worked together for a few years now. 

You have touched my heart. 

I miss my brother, but I'm happy for him that he is with The Lord.

Even more, I miss his family, we've grown much closer since his diagnosis.  Several trips to Jim & Cindy's home always started with smiles and hugs at their front door, and was accompanied by food, shelter, and love.  This weekend, Chandy made us all breakfast, she wanted to cook and we wanted to eat, but where she got the energy to do so I don't know, though I believe she must have had help from Above.  Rick and I spent a lot of time talking this weekend as well, I recall when he left Jim's room for a moment, I told Jim that Rick loved him SO much, and that he was a fine man - to which my brother smiled and said "I'm witcha !" Shannon, Missy, and Angie were also over frequently to spend time with their Dad and the rest of his family and friends. Most of all, Cindy was always with Jim, taking the best care of him this weekend, the weeks and months and years (praise The Lord) after his diagnosis, and the many years of marriage they (and we) enjoyed together. Please keep Cindy in your constant prayers, Jim's passing leaves her without her best friend and companion, and I can't even begin to imagine how she must feel without him there. Other than The Lord, he spoke of his grandchildren every time we talked, and more often than any other topic.

Jimbo, I'm so happy that you're talking with Jesus right now ! We were all blessed to share time together with you, and you were blessed with so many loved ones who are joyous for your arrival in Heaven. I tell ya though, brother, you've left a hole in our hearts way bigger than any hole you ever dug - the family will have to pull together and keep in touch with one another to try and fill that hole you left behind - we'll sure appreciate any help you can send our way.

Jim, I will always remember you from the CMA and seeing you off and on for many years....I always enjoyed when our paths crossed, periodically, to see and talk with you....I know your love for the Lord, and will see you again someday...when our paths cross again in heaven...Love you


Rick And Family, Bill & I are so very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Huffman family during this difficult time.

My heart is broken.  There is a hole in my heart that seems like it will never be filled.  My daughter asks, "why papa?" After his diagnosis, he asked the same, but quickly came to accept his fate and fought hard until the very end.  He showed me and everyone how to live even while living with a terminal disease.  Thank you to Cindy for taking such good care of dad at the end.  I would give anything to see one more smile, hear one more laugh or one more silly facial expression!! I loved how you made everyone feel special.  You would come to my house and seek out each grandchild and give each one special attention, I loved that!!  I will love you forever and always!!!

Jim was a great man of great faith. He is now home with his Lord, the one he spoke of and lived for. God Bless your family.

Cindy, Jim worked with my husband Ken for many years at P.J. Hoerr's. He retired from there in 2001 after working there 27 years.  He was their mechanic and also ran the curb machine.  The name "Jim Meadows" came up in so many of his conversations about work over the years.  I could tell that he thought alot of Jim.  Kenny passed away 5 years ago at the age of 64, so I know what you are going through right now and I just wanted you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
