

He was born July 8, 1961 in Des Moines, Iowa to Michael and Vivian (Moravek) Shearman. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Michael Shearman and Richard Shearman; and his step-father, Stanley Schroder.
Surviving are three sisters, Christy Abner of Peoria, Cathy Shearman of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Cindy (Roy) Gauwitz of Blanchard, Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews.
Kelly worked at Kenyon’s Place in Lacon from their opening day until his health declined. He was a hard worker and did his best to ensure the business ran smoothly.
He was a veracious reader. He specifically enjoyed reading science fiction books. Kelly was an auto-mechanic and was very tech savvy and enjoyed cooking in his free time and leather working.
A gathering celebrating Kelly's life will be held at a later date. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
