Born on June 19, 1946 in Pekin the daughter of Clarence B. and Della (Nell) Schurman, she married William Lasley on January 28, 1966 in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Tammy Taylor of Pekin; one son, Kenneth Lasley of Pekin; six grandchildren, Nicole, Codi, Angel, Kiara, Gabriel and Linkin; seven great grandchildren, Aiden, Jackson, Hunter, K-Sean, Cam-Ron, Stephen and Ryan and one sister, Glenna Sapp of Pekin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, William Harrison; one grandchild, Sean Hensley and one great-granddaughter, Nova Tucker; seven brothers and two sisters.
She last worked as a babysitter and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends
Jane was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Pekin for many years.
A gathering celebrating Jane’s life will be held at 2 p.m on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at the VFW Post 1232, 1232 Veterans Drive, Pekin. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
