Born November 5, 1981 in Peoria, he was the son of Larry Lee and Peggy Sue (Bowcott) Harbin. His parents preceded him in death.
Surviving are his daughter, Ella Harbin of Tremont; one brother, Justin (Angelica Borton) Harbin of Peoria; his aunts, Stephanie (John) Zilch of Pekin and Janet (Kevin) Wilson of Franklin, Tennessee and one uncle, Jeff (Diana) Bowcott of Bellevue.
He was a graduate of East Peoria Community High School, where he played football.
Jared had worked at Illinois Central College in East Peoria as a food manager in their cafeteria for more than 10 years. He also had worked at Freedom Gas in Creve Coeur.
Jared was a fan of the Buffalo Bills and enjoyed gaming.
Cremation will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Private inurnment will be held in Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.
