Jeanetta Mae Drum

Born on October 28, 1935, in Anna, to Russell and Bertha (Walls) McClure, she married Jack Dean Drum on October 19, 1956, in Anna. He preceded her in death on November 21, 2024.

She is also preceded in death by both of her parents; one brother; James McClure and one grandchild.

Surviving are two sons; Nick (Cindy) Drum of Rochester, and Jeff (Kimberly) Drum of Creve Coeur; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty Vincent of Anna and two brothers; William (Judy) McClure and Robert (Ruth) McClure, both of Anna.

Jeanetta worked primarily as a homemaker throughout her life and previously worked as a telephone operator for OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was of the Protestant faith and attended Twin Oaks Missionary Church.

Throughout her life she enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family, and taking her sons camping. She also enjoyed being part of a bowling league.

Her graveside service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. There will be no visitation prior. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. A funeral luncheon will be held at Avanti’s in Pekin following the graveside service.
