Jeffery Scott Bagley

Born April 28, 1966 in Pekin, he was the son of Ricky Dean and Carol Ann (Clark) Bagley.

Surviving are his mother, Carol Williams of Pekin; one son, John H. (Hannah Finley) Bagley of Peoria; one grandson, Damien Lee Bagley of Peoria; one half-brother, Todd Bagley; two step-sisters, Deborah Stocks of St. George, Utah and Cris Ray of St. Peters, Missouri; one step-brother, Wesley Williams of Milton, Florida and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father; his step-father, Lee Williams and his grandparents.

Jeff worked as a housekeeper for 30 years, last working at Heddington Oaks in Peoria and Methodist Hospital prior to that. He had attended Illinois Central College and earned his CNA certificate from Midwest Technical Institute.

He enjoyed hiking and loved to cook. He also loved history and going to movies. Jeff had a great sense of humor and an independent and kind spirit that always had to try to do it his way.

His memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Kathy Barrett will officiate. Visitation will be one half-hour before the memorial service at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
