

CHILLICOTHE ~ Jeffery Scott Stobaugh, 54, of 5114 East Rome West Road, passed away at 4:36 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2008 at the Methodist Medical Center of Illinois in Peoria, following a battle with cancer.
Born October 27, 1953 in Peoria to Ralph Vernon and Montie Evelyn (Maggart) Stobaugh, he married Rosemary Louise (Long) Milam on July 20, 2008 in East Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are his parents formerly of Peoria and now residing in Pekin; one daughter, Nicole A. Stobaugh of Bartonville; three step-sons, Craig Luczkowiak of Mapleton, Jeff Luczkowiak, both of Bartonville and Cole Milam of Pekin; three step-daughters, Michelle (Chuck) Biesecker of Spring Bay, Mallory Milam and Kayla Milam, both of Pekin and one sister, Diana (Tom) Price of Monroe, North Carolina. He also leaves one niece, Jennifer Price and one nephew, Thomas Price, both of Monroe, North Carolina.
Jeff worked for Ameren Cilco for 29 years, last working in April, 2008 as a gas construction crew leader in Peoria. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 51.
Jeff had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with friends. He loved to ride motorcycles. In years past he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
His memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2008at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Gary L. Ford will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:45 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded, with burial of ashes in The Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria at a later date.
Following the memorial service, his family will greet friends at a gathering held at Jeff's home in Chillicothe.
