Born August 3, 1958 in Illiopolis to Richard and Janet (Williams) Turnbull, he married Trudi Miller on November 30, 1985 in Bloomington. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Torri (Ed) Wollenschlager of Bloomington; two grandchildren, Drew and Jake; and one sister, Lisa (Ted) Hohenstein of Wyoming.
Ebba worked as a social work administrator for over 40 years. He retired in 2023 from The Center for Youth and Family Solutions.
He enjoyed playing cards and games like poker and euchre. In his younger years, he liked to golf, read historical and horror novels and travel to Mexico and Las Vegas.
A powwow to celebrate Ebba’s life will be held at a later date. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes in Pekin.
