He was born May 28, 1960 in Peoria to Gail R. and Elizabeth "Bettye" (Ryan) Anderson.
He is survived by his sister, Marcia (George) Swords of Hanna City; two brothers, Gregory (Elaine) Anderson of California and Matthew Anderson of East Peoria; niece Pamela Rust; nephews, Mike Anderson, Mark Anderson, and Stephen Swords; and seven great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death his parents and his brother, David Anderson.
Jeff had worked for Electrical Controls Incorporated.
Jeff’s interests were varied. He fished, was a talented carpenter, an avid reader and an amateur glass blower. His cats always shared in his life. The faith he had in God supported Jeff throughout the blessings and challenges he faced.
His memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur, where visitation will be two hours before the service. Pastor Jim Reed will officiate.
