CREVE COEUR ~ Jerry Duane Maddox Jr., 38, of 701 Fisher Road, lot #209, passed away at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born July 26, 1969 in Peoria to Jerry Duane Sr. and Loretta (Miller) Maddox, he married Hazel Bennett on February 27, 1988 in East Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are one son, Cody Duane Maddox of Creve Coeur; one daughter, Taylor Aileen Maddox of Creve Coeur; and one sister, Margaret Renee Williams of Monroe, Louisiana. Jerry was a fork truck driver in shipping at XPAC in Bartonville, last working on February 12, 2008. He loved fishing and working on cars. He took pride in his yard work, and loved to decorate the yard for Halloween. He attended Faith Christian Center in Washington. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2008 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Creve Coeur Chapel. The Rev. Steve Graffis will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Fon du Lac Cemetery in East Peoria. Memorial contributions may be made to his wife and children 701 Fisher Road, lot #209 Creve Coeur, IL 61611.
