Jessica Renea Doerr

She was born March 24, 1978 in Peoria to Edward and Kimmie (Shyrock) Heuck. She was preceded in death by her mother, Kimmie Christenson.

Surviving are her father; six children, William “Billy” Adams of Paducah, Kentucky, Cheyenne (Josh Moore) Doerr of Pekin, Michelle Doerr of Washington, Chloe McGrane of Pekin, Melody Doerr of Washington and Levi Doerr; two grandchildren Elijah Moore and one on the way; three brothers, Troy (Amy White) Heuck of Chillicothe, Shane Heuck of Petersburg and Shawn (Candi) Jaynes of Pekin; one sister, Clarissa Shyrock of Oak Hill; one step-sister, Melissa (Chris Mathews) Rusk of Creve Coeur and one step nephew, Lane Rusk-Morr, and one step-niece Dakota Rusk.

Jessica has worked as a server at her family owned business, Mel’s Café in East Peoria for 12 years. Family was the most important thing in her life.

Her memorial service will be 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home in Pekin. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
