

Born October 28, 1959 in Peoria to Eugene and Effie (Hall) Wyman, she married Joey “Joe” Eugene Nizzia on November 2, 1975 in Pekin. He died September 6, 2022 in Cuba. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Earleen Nizzia and Sue Thompson and three brothers, Eugene Wyman, Kenneth Wyman, and John Wyman.
Surviving are one son, Joey E. (Kristina) Nizzia II of Pekin; three daughters, Jennifer R. Gray, Jamie L. (Paul) Driskell and Judy Ann Nizzia, all of Pekin; 12 grandchildren, Bayley, Olivia, Audrey, Brody, Zoe, Gianna, Alison, Madison, Liam, Savannah, Baylee, Khloee, and a special foster daughter Molly Wyman of Spring Bay and her children, Braden, Maia, Haven, and Ellary; two sisters, Elaine Richey and Evonne Johnson, both of Pekin. She was also a mother to many foster children and every neighborhood child. She was known as Momma Jill.
A loving and dedicated mom and grandma, Jill loved attending her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events. She enjoyed fishing, working in her yard, listening to music. She also enjoyed visiting with friends and family while drinking a good cup of coffee. She also loved shopping at Dollar General.
She worked as a bus driver for The City of Pekin for several years. She also helped her daughter Judy establish A&M Cleaning Services.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Rev. Judy Doyle will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.
