She was born June 17, 1954 in Hinsdale, IL to Joseph B. and Rosella (Caldwell) Young.
Jo Ann is survived by her son Victor Allen of Sheridan; several grandchildren and one brother, Arthur "Art" Young of Pekin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Jo Ann worked for Affina Ruppman Marketing Technologies Incorporated in Peoria.
She received an Associates Degree in Computer Marketing at Carl Sandburg Community College in Galesburg. Jo Ann loved computers and was very good with them.
Memorial Services will be at 6 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 at New Life Fellowship Church, 246 Derby St., Pekin. Pastor Mark Utech will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, 500 North 4th Street, Pekin, IL 61554 to help defray the cost of her cremation.
