John E Bush

Born July 27, 1926 in Pekin to Edward C. and Clara A. (Gilbreth) Bush, he married Mary Jean Wehner on March 8, 1950 in Peoria. She survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Barbara (Robert) Johnson of Phoenix, Arizona, and Sandra (Terry) Perry and Linda (Brad) Johnson, both of Pekin; one son, John A. Bush; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Bush of Chillicothe; and one sister, Margaret Haygood of Syracuse, New York.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and one brother.

John worked in the lab for Corn Products Corporation in Pekin for 23 years, last working January 3, 1983. He then worked for Pekin Insurance in the maintenance department for 7 years, retiring August 1, 1991.

John enjoyed fishing and doing small electrical repairs.

Cremation has been accorded. There will be no services or visitation.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel.
