She was born Nov. 5, 1950 in Pekin, IL to Henry and Mary Ann (Goetze) Neumann.
Surviving are her father; brother, James (Roberta) Neumann; two nephews, Eric (Patricia), William (Stacie); two great nieces, Hannah and Aya; aunt, Fran (Don) Schlottman; and two uncles, Robert and Jack Goetze.
She was preceded in death by her mother; maternal grandparents, Frank and Sophie Goetze; paternal grandparents, Henry and Susie Neumann.
Joyce worked as a prep cook at Ernie’s Restaurant in Pekin before retiring. She was a life member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Pekin.
Funeral Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, 2010 at Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin with Rev. Dwight Borden officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
