Judith A Reader

Born January 27, 1942 in Peoria to Maurice and Dorothy (Dawson) Brady, she married Lonnie "Jim" Reader on September 10, 1962 in Bartonville. He survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Kevin (Janet) Reader of Pekin, Mark (Linda) Reader of Marquette Heights and Jim (April) Reader of Pekin; two step-daughters, Donna Konieczny of St. Louis, Missouri and Renee Downey of Pekin; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Scott (Sarah) Brady of Rockford and Ralph Brady of West Memphis, Tennessee; and one sister, Maurine (Brad) Fortuna of Hardy, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jimmy.

Judy had been a sales associate for Walgreens for over 10 years, retiring in 2013.

Judy loved to camp, fish and go bowling. She especially loved her dogs, Jesse and Boomer.

Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is in charge of arrangements.
