

Born September 29, 1940 in Pekin to Dick and Millie (Milashoski) Johnson Sr., she married Jack Mills in 1959 in Pekin. She later married Lyle Ingersoll in 1967 in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Ric (Heather) Mills of Arcadia, Florida; one step-daughter, Deb Laswell of Crouse, North Carolina; two granddaughters, Crystal and Ashley Mills, both of Arcadia, Florida; three step grandchildren, Nathan, Danelle and Rissa; one great-granddaughter, Aimee; one brother, Dick (Wanda) Johnson of Pekin and one sister, Jackie (Jerry) Gregory of Spring Lake. She also leavesseveral nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and a nephew, Chad Creech.
Judy worked for the City of Pekin as a secretary for the bus department. She also had worked for Pruitt's Florist in Pekin and for the Steinmart department store in Ft. Myers.
A 1959 graduate of Pekin Community High School, Judy loved to bowl, paint murals and flower arranging. She was a wonderful mother, sister, aunt and friend.
She had been baptized into the Christian faith at Second Reformed Church in Pekin.
Her graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin. The Rev. Terry C. Edele will officiate. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel.
