

Born August 30, 1945, in Vevay, Indiana to John S. and Thelma (Bliss) Park, she married Willard B. Willoughby on July 14, 1984 in Marion, Kentucky. He survives.
Also surviving are her two sons, Jeffery (Lu) Goodman of Rineyville, Kentucky and Denny Goodman of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; four granddaughters, Jennifer (Ben) Frank of Manhattan, Jessica (Joseph) Triplett of Biloxi, Mississippi, Shannon (Brandon) Dault of Pekin and Peyton Goodman of Washington, DC; six grandchildren, Hunter, Avery, Broderick, Joseph, Weston and Penelope; one sister, Joyce Croft of Marion, Kentucky and one brother, Larry Park of Hebron, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings, Lowell, Robert, John, Ivan, Donnie, Marvin, Raymond and Norma Jean.
A homemaker, Karen loved to spoil her grandkids and great grandkids. Even the neighborhood kids got fed and clothed by her. She would truly help anyone who needed it. Karen was also a truck driver, her and Willard enjoyed traveling the western United States and as much as she loved it, she decided to stay in the area to be closer to her family. She also enjoyed mushroom hunting and bonfires.
A memorial service celebrating Karen’s life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Rev. Judy Doyle will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
