Born August 25, 1931 in Oconee to Earl and Margaret (McKinley) Sisk, she married Charles Adam Diegel on October 11, 1956 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He died January 16, 1992.
Surviving are two daughters, Susan Diegel of Pekin and Donna (Randy) Gardner of San Jose; one son, Keith (Kim) Diegel of Pekin; four grandchildren, Nathan Gardner, Brandon Gardner, Mindy Diegel, Daniel Diegel; one sister, Phyllis (Larry) Vanderwerf of Pekin; one brother, Roger Sisk of Pekin; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Sisk of Morton and Sara Sisk of Tremont.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Robert, Clifford and Richard.
Kathleen was of the Baptist faith.
A homemaker, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Rev. Johnny Creasong will officiate. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
