PEKIN ~ Kathy Gale Hunt, 54, of 1102 Oxford St., Apt. 7, passed away at 7:50 a.m., Friday, Feb.18, 2011 at her home.
She was born Jun.8, 1956 in Pekin to Elmer and Viola (McCoy) Hunt.
Surviving are 1 daughter, Joni (Kevin Lawson) Banks of Pekin; 1 son, J.R. Banks of Joliet; 2 grandsons, Kyle and Kameron Lawson; 6 sisters; 5 brothers; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Since 2004, Kathy had been employed by Aramark as a custodian at Wilson School in Pekin.
She enjoyed music, dancing, and watching her grandson play baseball.
Her funeral will be at 6 p.m., Monday, February 21, 2011 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Rev. Jim Dawson will officiate. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the funeral. Cremation will be accorded following the service.
