Kenadee Wallenfang

Born February 18, 2007 in Pekin, she was a daughter of Michelle Lee Hill and Eric Robert Wallenfang.

Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Michelle and George Wood in Pekin; her father, Eric Robert Wallenfang of Peoria; three brothers, Tyson Wallenfang, Brayden Wood and Bradlee Wood, all of Pekin; her maternal grandmother, Tonya (Chuck) Tribbett of Pekin; her paternal grandfather, Bob Wallenfang of Peoria; several aunts and uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Penny Wood, Duane Hill and Lora Netherton and her great-grandparents, Theodore and Mary Beeney and Robert and Lydia Netherton.

Kenadee was 2025 graduate of Pekin Community High School. She was planning to go on to study Psychology in college to be a help to those with mental illness.

She had a smile that would light up a room and was a sweet soul once you got to know her. Kenadee was an animal lover and loved hanging out with her friends. She was a hard worker and was working as a secretary for the law offices of Warren Danz in Peoria. She was confident and knew what she wanted in life.

Her funeral will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Judy Doyle will officiate. Visitation will be from 3 to 4:45 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following the funeral.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Kenadee was a selfless person who had made the decision to give the gift of life to others with Gift of Hope Organ donation.
