Kenneth E Hedrick Jr.

Born July 19, 1960, in Pekin to Kenneth Eugene and Dorothy (Haynes) Hedrick, he married Michelle Collins on October 5, 1991 in Pekin. She survives.

Also surviving are two children, Jeffrey (Sheryl) Collins of Manito and Samantha (Sean) Hedrick of Manito; five grandchildren, Logan Ward of New York, Dakota Collins, Peyton Collins, Greyson Hedrick and Gemma Hedrick, all of Manito.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Steven Hedrick.

Kenneth owned and operated a truck driving company, retiring in 2013.

He enjoyed tinkering in his garage and riding and working on four-wheelers.

Kenneth was a proud dad of Jeffery and Samantha. He loved watching Dakota & Peyton's sporting events. His grandchildren were the light of his life, he was Greyson’s best friend and Gemma was grandpops little sweetheart.

He was the best husband, dad, pawpaw and grandpop.

He left a hole in the hearts of his family that can never be filled.

There will be a memorial service at a later date. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
