

He was born October 15, 1986 in Pekin to Jeffrey Joel and Tracey Marie (Davin) Myers.
Surviving are his parents of Pekin; one brother, Brent Allen Myers of Pekin; his maternal grandparents, Jack A. and Phyllis J. Davin of Pekin; his paternal grandmother, Vivian J. Myers of Midland, Michigan and his aunts and uncles, Jeff A. Davin of Rockford, Curt and Connie Myers of Bad Axe, Michigan, Christie and Gordon Hall and Jan and Mike Warren, all of Midland. He also leaves numerous cousins, including Tom and Linda Pfanz of Lakewood, Colorado and Ryan, Ilyssa, Spencer, Madison, Erica and Alexis.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Alfred L. Myers on September 29, 2006.
Kyle was a 2005 graduate of Pekin Community High School, where he lettered in basketball all four years and was an All Conference/All State player.
He attended Elmhurst College his freshman year and was currently a sophomore at Coastal Carolina University at Myrtle Beach, where he looked forward to playing basketball. He was majoring in Environmental Science.
He was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ in Pekin.
Kyle's friends meant the world to him and he was a loving son, brother and grandson.
A service celebrating his life will be at 11 a.m. Monday, October30, 2006at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Pekin. The Rev. Jan C. Johnson and Rev. Eric A. Hansen will officiate. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, October 29, 2006at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
