

Born July 6, 1946 in Bloomington to Edward Lloyd and Barbara Ellen Garrett White, he married Barbara Diane Burroughs on December 19, 1971 in Mackinaw.
Surviving are his mother, Barbara White of Pekin; 2 daughters, Angie White of Mt. Zion and LeeAnne (Brian) Robbins of Marquette Heights; 2 grandchildren, Brilie Robbins and Bradie Robbins, both of Marquette Heights; 3 sisters, Mary Jo Rowell of South Pekin, Barbara Jean Bowers and Kathleen Preston, both of Marquette Heights; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Diana Kutkat of Peoria.
He was preceded in death by his father and several nieces and nephews.
Lee worked for Caterpillar, Inc. for 35 years, retiring in December 2006 as a materials specialist at the Logistics center in Morton.
Lee served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam era.
He held numerous offices with the UAW Local 974.
Lee enjoyed woodworking, watching movies with his grandkids, and was an avid Chicago Cubs baseball fan.
His funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 2, 2007 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin chapel. Rev. Gary Ford will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin. Casual dress is requested.
