Aunt Marie, you will be missed by many but never forgotten.  You are there with Uncle Frances, your children and my dad. I have read the other posting and you are a very strong person with a very large and loving family. Rest in Peace.  Love Ruth

Grandma,
        Even though this is tough for me, I know you will NEVER be in pain again.  And that comforts me. There will not be a day that goes by that I don't think about the good times I had the privilege of sharing with you.  You will always be remembered for your enthusiasm and encouragement.  And even though your physical body passed away, your legacy will live in the hearts and minds of the countless people you touched in your life.  I will see you later, Grandma. I love you. 


The first two things that appear in my mind when i think of the event that occured in the past few days are sorrow and joy at the same time.  I wish i was their to express my gratitude for everything she has taught me, and for all of the time i spent with her.  The joy in this event is me remembering and loving all of the good memories i shared with grandma.  how she could make everyone, including my mom when she was mad at us, laugh and fill with joy  by cracking a joke at just the right time.  Lillian Taylor lived a long and I feel joyous life.  while i am here at Basic Combat Training, one of my recent motivations getting me through PT, or the 10 mile ruck sack march, and the mental aspect of BCT as a whole, was if she can have the strenghth to have lived for so long and overcome so many obstacles, then me passing and surviving BCT was nothing in comparrison.  I miss and think about grandma everyday, but i know she has moved on to a better place, and i will see her again in heaven.  I love You Grandma. 

G-ma i will miss you everyday your not with use. She was a wonderful and amazing women. She was a mother to me more than my own. She was a very influential person in my life as many more. I was inspired by her. She was the most wonderful and amazing women i know. We were lucky to have her for 93 years. U feel in love with her the first time you meet her. She would brigthen up the room just by entering it. And with her unpredictable sense of humor she would make you laugh. She was the best G-ma ever. It would be selfish of me to want her to stay here with me. But now is the time to be with G-pa and other family that has be waiting for her on the other side. But i wish she and i could stay here for onther 93 years. I have some dear and great memories together. She  has inspired many things in many people .But we will always have B-G on Sat. mornings, I so enjoy that time with her and will miss that. We would sit and talk. I love to hear her tell me about her younger days. I will miss you g-ma very day i live. i love you dearly may god watch over you now. you are loved and will be missed by so many, Rest in peace G-ma 


I was her Greasy Turkey. She always called me that name because I was born in Turkey and went back to Greece with my parents because my mom was stated there. I remember that Grandma had many many toys that talked and whenever we visited her at the high rise she would always let us play with them. The newspaper wars I remember the best. We would go on for hours flicking the newspaper and she would roll it up and hit us with it. She started to read the paper again and we flicked the paper again and again. She also had a lot of candy for us to snack on and ruin our dinner. I remember one time we visited her we made snowflakes out of yarn and American flags out of beads and safety pins. Grandma Taylor inspired me to be strong and to never give up. She stayed strong and she never gave up, even at the end of her life she was strong. I will miss you very much Grandma Taylor and I will never forget you. I love you with all my heart Grandma!

Grandma, I could write a hundred pages about how MUCH you meant to me, but you already know exactly what I'm thinking. This is so other people can catch just a glimpse of what an amazing grandma you were to me and many others, and what an amazing person you were to all. You were put in a horrible situation that you couldn't get out of, and you had EVERY right to complain and be bitter about it, but because of the person you were, you never did. You are amazing and I can't say that enough. I can only HOPE to be half the woman that you were and still are. I will miss you always but I know you're with me always. With everything I do or say, I will always remember you. I'm incredibly lucky to have even a part of your DNA, and I hope that your greatest traits are even somewhat passed down to me. YOU ARE MY ROLE MODEL!! I didn't think it was possible to never be mad at a person, but you proved me wrong, because in my 17 years knowing you, you've never upset me, EVER. You were there when I took my first steps, and you will still be there with me when I take my last. We will meet again someday, and I know you're way happier now than you ever had been. I'm so glad I got closer to you in these past three years, even under the worst circumstances, I got to know you so much better, and you continued to amaze me. I will always love and miss you. my heart is broken. next to mom you are and were the strongest woman i have ever known, and ever will know. the one woman who was so influential to me and my life, next to mom..i drew and draw my strength from you both.i cant come, you know why..part of my heart goes with you grandma, may your soul find peace and solace from all of your sorrows you had throughout your amazing life...you definately are a very loved woman..what an amazing life you have had. how beautiful you were. please tell grandpa hi, and mom and i will see you again someday..love you forever and always,rosie hall and daughter joanna marie carroll hall

Mom, I want you to know that not only do I love you with all my heart,you are my inspiration. You have inspired me to be the best wife, mother, and friend that I can be. You have always supported me in my decisions and been there for me when I needed you. You have always been there for advice, but never gave it unless asked. You have been through so much in your life, good and not so good, but always tried to find the best in everyone and every situation. As for Dwight and the kids, you have always been the best mother-in-law and the best Grandma anyone could ever ask for, and for that I will be forever grateful. I miss you so much, but am comforted in the idea of you being reunited with Dad, Charlie, Jr. and Barb. My heart hurts so much right now, but I know I will always have so many great memories to fall back on.I LOVE YOU MOM!!!
