Linda L Bright

Born June 7, 1957 in Streator to Jerry and Helen (Hoskins) Berta, she married Mark Bright on August 31, 1975 in Tremont. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, Jeff Bright of North Pekin; one daughter, Tricia (Paul) Maurice of East Peoria; two grandchildren, Brooklyn and Tyler Maurice, both of East Peoria; one brother, Mike (Tenley) Berta of Cape Coral, Florida; and three sisters, Rita Poskins and Virginia Berta, both of Steger, and Debbie (Ken) Michalski of Cedar Lake, Indiana.

She was of the Lutheran faith.

Linda had worked in the Podiatry Arts Lab in Pekin for nearly 20 years, making orthotic braces.

She enjoyed knitting and gardening. She loved to vacation in Hawaii and play with her grandchildren. She cherished her Saturdays, which she often spent shopping with her daughter.

Herfuneral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2013at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
