Born November 20, 1948 in Greeneville, Tennessee to Harold and Mary Ellen (Kelley) Stanton, she married Robert Clyde Severs. Her parents preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, James Lovell.
Surviving are one daughter, Jeanine Louise Severs of Bartonville; one son, Corey Clyde Severs of Peoria; four brothers and sisters, Dorothy Lovell and Robert (Holly) Stanton, both of Marquette Heights, Donna Stanton of Pekin, and Norman Stanton of East Peoria; and several nieces and nephews.
A homemaker, Linda enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her friends.
Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Cremation rites will be accorded.
Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
