Lois A Watson

Born September 4, 1932 in Livingston County, Kentucky to Clarence Marvin and Bessie Blanche (Carr) Moore, she married Paul E. Watson on September 10, 1950 in Corinth, Mississippi. He died May 2, 2007 in Peoria. She also was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Darla K. Watson on December 28, 1968 in Peoria and one infant granddaughter, Miranda Watson.

Surviving are one daughter, Vickie A. (James) Callas of Peoria; one son, Gregory A. Watson of Creve Coeur; five grandchildren, Erin (Will) Lafreniere of Surprise, Arizona, Jenna Watson of Peoria, Taylor Watson, Wesley Watson and Colin Watson, all of East Peoria; two great-grandchildren, Kameron Adair and Kaleb Lafreniere; four brothers, Fred (Joy) Moore of Midland, Texas, Leon (Dottie) Moore, Louis Moore, both of Ledbetter, Kentucky and Dale (Faye) Moore of Springfield, Missouri and two sisters, Wanda (Raymond) Schuppe of Lebanon, Indiana and Melva Porter of Salem, Kentucky.

She retired from International Paper in 1994 with 20 years of service.

Lois enjoyed flower gardening and was a very dedicated grandmother.

She attended First Baptist Church of Creve Coeur.

Private funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2008at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Creve Coeur Chapel. The Rev. David L. Lynn will officiate. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Fon du Lac Cemetery in East Peoria.
