

PEKIN ~ Louise Helena Boller, 97, of 444 South Parkway Drive, passed away at 2:55 a.m. Friday, July 23, 2010 at Pekin Hospital. She was formerly of 1324 South 6th Street.Born Mar. 12, 1913 in Davenport, IA to Fred and Helen (Noack) Coelln, she married Lester J. Boller on Sept. 6, 1931 in Dixon. He died Feb. 14, 2002 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by one grandson, John Gunsten and one brother, Edward Coelln.Surviving are two daughters, Joanna Lee (Frog) Wilkerson of Casa Grande, AZ and Nancy Lou (Donald) Schneider of Canton; five grandchildren, Jane (Joe) Thomer of Nevada, CA, Jill (Dave) Dray of Naples, FL, Roberta (Bill) Powell of Oak Harbor, WA, Jodi (Tony) Erickson and Dean (Paige) Schneider, both of Pekin and seven great-grandchildren.Louise was a receptionist for Wieser-Durbin Optical and then for Dr. Voller for many years. She also previously had worked at J.C. Penney's in downtown Pekin.A former resident of Taylorville, Louise formerly volunteered at Taylorville Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Saint Paul United Church of Christ in Pekin.Her graveside funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. The Rev. Todd K. Mushaney will officiate.
