Margaret Louise Alexander

Born September 5, 1925 in Peoria to William and Winifred (Turner) Weithe, she married Howard Woodruff on June 9, 1946 in Peoria. He died October 11, 1982 in Peoria. She later married Darrell Alexander on February 2, 1996 in Pekin. He died October 28, 1999 in Pekin.

Surviving are one daughter, Bonnie Schad of Florida; one grandson, Quinn E. Schad of East Peoria; two great-grandchildren, Anthony Schad and Quinn Richard Schad; several great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Burlingame of Pekin; many nieces and nephews including, Teresa (Patrick) Kellerstrass of Pekin, Jan (John) Michaels of Arizona and Steve (Sarah) Garman of Green Valley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Bill Weithe Jr.; one sister, Virginia Burroughs and one nephew Scott Gregory.

Margaret worked at Pekin Insurance for several years. She also worked for Pekin Villas as Hostess.

She was a former member of the Pekin Hospital League and a former Sunday school teacher.

Margaret was a member of Pekin First United Methodist Church for over 50 years.

There will be no services at this time. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
