I'll always remember Mrs. Jones as a good part of my childhood.  If I wasn't at my house, I was at her house.  May God confort y'all and welcome your mother home.

Dan, Rory, Doug, Marla, Roberta, Michael and family,
I have so many many memories of your mother and the neighborhood we all shared for all of those childhood and teen years. While growing up in MH, your mom was such an integral part of the lives of the Burdette's. The morning coffees with Dorothy,their walks with Roxie and Sam, the decision to get her driver's license, and so many, many other times.   The many, many conversations our mothers enjoyed as they discussed their respective children,their family trips/reunions,their holidays,the family graduations,the family weddings, the births of their grandchildren, their joys and their sorrows. Margaret was truly a dear friend to my mother and had a positive influence on my life. She corrected me when I was being a brat in the neighborhood and she encouraged me to continue going to college while I was in my late teens.Most of all,she was a GREAT and loving mother to some of my best friends, ever. Her wonderful legacy lives in each of you, in your children and,now,in your grandchildren. 
It seems Abraham Lincoln said it best- "All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel Mother.” Your mother's mission on earth is complete. She is at peace and rejoicing with all the saints in His kingdom. She will be missed, BUT because of our faith in Him,we shall see her again. We send much love to each one of you and your families.  

We will always have strong & fond memories in our hearts of Aunt Margaret, just as we have always had of Uncle Jim. We both remember you, Danny, Rory, Doug, Marla, Roberta & Mike in our prayers and we wish the peace of God to be with you and give you comfort.  We are sorry that we cannot attend the funeral services, but, all of you are in our hearts & thoughts. And, we are sure that Reverend Eckhardt will deliver a fine eulogy, just as he did for Uncle Jim.   

Aunt Margaret was as close as I ever had to a second mom.  I will always remember and miss her bright smile, happy voice and hugs whenever we got together.  She was always a part of my life, offering, but never pushing warm, loving, motherly advice.  
My condolences to all my cousins, she was one person of whom it can truly be said that she "didn't have a mean bone in her body".

When I think of the adults in my early life Mrs. Jones comes to the front. I think I spent more time in her home then my own. It was always a good place to be. When I grew up and came back to visit I would meet the old friends in Marquette Heights at Margaret’s and Jim’s house. I can still see both of them sitting in their chairs as much in the conversation as any of the childhood and high school friends. This is how I will remember them.

Our prayers are with the Jones family, as we realize how significant the loss of a parent is.  May God bless you all and make you smile as you reflect on all the wonderful memories of your mother.

Mrs. Jones was such a nice person. She was like a second mom.  Some people come and go in our lives and others make impact in our lives.  Mrs. Jones made a positive impact in mine.  God Bless her.

Sending my love, prayers, and sympathy to the Cruce family for the loss of your mother / grandmother.  (Your family always holds a special place in my heart.)  I am sure you will miss her tremendously -- hold on to your wonderful memories and remember her with a smile on your face!

Dan, Doug, and extended family...  Sorry to see the news of your mother's passing.  I don't know that I ever met her, but she must have been a good influence on the Joneses, as witness the charater of her children and grandchildren.  May God walk with you this week and in the coming months.

I am sincerely sorry for your loss and hope you find in comfort in knowing that she is now resting with the Lord.
