Marie valued her time with family. She especially found true joy interacting with her grandchildren on the farm. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting blankets, doilies, and dolls for her loved ones. She also loved to bake cookies and made the best rhubarb pie. Every year, her garden was a testament to the beauty of summer, bursting with gorgeous blossoms. Marie was also a passionate Chicago Cubs fan and was overjoyed when they clinched the 2016 World Series title.
A devoted member of the Methodist faith, Marie saw beauty in everyone she met and treasured each day spent with those she loved.
