Marsha Diane Meyer

Born June 25, 1956 in Carrollton to Oscar and Mable (Allen) Hardwick, she married Doug Eric Meyer on September 23, 20 in Pekin. He survives.

Also surviving is her son, Michael A. Everhardt of Peoria; two step-children, Justin D. (Rachel) Meyer of Indiana and Brittany (Alan Dunn) of Pekin; two grandchildren, Liam D. Dray and Chase M. Everhardt; five step-grandchildren, Brandon C. Dunn, Justin W. Dunn, Robert Dunn, Kaydence Gilliam, Charlie and Millie Meyer; and her siblings, Sharon (Hardwick) Barnes of Kentucky, Ronnie Hardwick, Karen Pruitt, Janet Hardwick, Lyndell Hardwick, all of Carrollton; and one brother-in-law, Charles L. Barnes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant brother; four brothers, Donald Hardwick, Junior Hardwick, Everett Hardwick and Charles Hardwick; one sister-in-law, Denise (Brinker) Hardwick and one brother-in-law, Charles (Duanne) Pruitt.

Marsha had worked as a CNA with Spoon River Home Health for 10 years, retiring in 2009.

She enjoyed quilting and crocheting.

Her graveside service will be held 1 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025 at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin. Chip Roland will officiate. Arrangements have been entrusted with Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
