Born May 11, 1929 in Pekin to Fred W. and Clara (Forward) Wehner, she married John E. Bush on March 8, 1950 in Peoria. He died August 3, 2006 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by one brother, Fred.
Surviving are one son, John A. Bush of Washington; three daughters, Barbara (Robert) Johnson of Phoenix, Arizona, Sandra (Terry) Perry and Linda (Brad) Johnson, both of Pekin; six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A homemaker, Mary enjoyed fishing with her husband and crocheted beautiful, intricate doilies.
Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no visitation or service. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary's honor may be given to the Tazewell Animal Protective Society at 100 Taps Ln. Pekin, IL 61554.
