

Born May 27, 1933 in Jacksonville to Samuel and Della (Reynolds) Coe, she married James Delmar “Jim” Gosnell on June 27, 1964 in Pekin. He died November 27, 2015 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, James Spradlin and John Spradlin; one brother, Bill Reynolds; one sister, Margaret Keller, her daughter-in-laws, Traci Gosnell, andSusie Spadlin.
Surviving are one son Mike Gosnell of Pekin; one daughter, Kelli (Jason) King of Canton; six grandchildren, Carla (Rob) Baker of Manito, Jared Spradlin, Kyle Spradlin, both of Florida, Clint Spradlin of Michigan, Zac Gosnell of Colorado, Renee Walraven of Canton; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and one sister, Virginia Blaska. Mary worked for Double D’s Ice Cream Factory in Pekin for 15 years, retiring in 1999. She was a member of Pekin Women of the Moose Chapter 673 and a longtime member of the AmVets Ladies Auxiliary.
Mary had the gift of hospitality, hosting family gatherings and cooking for family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was of the Baptist faith.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the Moose Lodge 916 2605 Broadway St, Pekin, IL 61554.
Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
