Mary Gray

She was born in Peoria on November 2, 1958 to Charles and Bertha (Nimrick) Turner.

Mary was preceded in death by both her parents and one brother named Gary Turner.

She is survived by James Gray, father of her children and devoted friend; six children, Ryan Turner of Peoria, William (Ashley) Gray of Washington, Michele Gray of Peoria, Kathryn (Justin Lacey) Gray of Peoria, Jamilea (Douglass) Croft of Edwardsville, and Austin (Mallory) Gray of St. Louis; three sisters, Evelyn Belfield, Sally Vinovich, and Valerie Legg; eleven grandchildren, Emma, William, Nicholas, Madilyn, Avery, Bentley, Charley, Ford, Lorali, Miles, Navy; one great-grandchild, Isaiah.

Mary worked as a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She was also a member of the Pleasant Valley Board of Education for 25 years.

Cremation has been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. A celebration of life will be held on a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Mary may be made to the family to assist with the funeral expenses.
