Melody Ann Howard

She was born July 23, 1962 in Phoenix, Arizona to Ernest and Jeanette (Ramsden) Gale. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Vernon and Dagne Ramsden of Pekin and cousin, Russ Ramsden.

Surviving are one aunt, Avis (Larry) Gray of Casa Grande, Arizona; three uncles, Dale (Betty) Ramsden of Forrest Lake, Minnesota, Glenn (Susan) Ramsden of St. Augustine, Florida and Ron Ramsden of Willow Park, Texas; close cousins, Jill (Gary) Covington of Pekin, Shane Roan of Marquette Heights, Stephanie (Roan) Bastean of Henderson, Nebraska, Sheree (Ramsden) Wolter of Pekin, Robert Hindal of St. Helens, Oregon , Nicki (Ramsden) Reese of Pekin, Chuck (Pam) Ramsden of Mesa, Arizona, Dan (Lori) Ramsden of Lino Lakes, Minnesota and Tom Ramsden of Rock Creek, Minnesota.

Melody was an essential worker, enjoyed the outdoors, especially her birds, bunnies and squirrels. She was an avid Chicago Cubs and NASCAR fan, especially, Dale Earnhardt. She looked forward to spending her Tuesday Girl’s Night with many dear friends and lots of laughter.

Her pride and joy was “Bella”, her dog she loved so dearly, taking her on walks, car rides, pet store trips and going to the dog park.

A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
