Michael W Fuller

Born December 5, 1952 in Bloomington to Orville C. and Dorothy (Hassler) Fuller, he married Debra Mix on February 17, 2013 at Creve Coeur Christian Church. She died May 15, 2019. He was also preceded in death by his parents; one step-daughter, Susan Jordan; two grandchildren and two siblings, Jeffrey Fuller and Orville “Kenny” Fuller.

Surviving are three children, Todd (Kimberly) Fuller of Manito, Connie (Kenneth) Stufflebeam of Benton, Kentucky and Donald “Don” (Nina Davis) Fuller of Pekin; one step-daughter, Enchandia “Chanda” (Josh) Parod of Pekin; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; six siblings, Juanita Gray of Claremore, Oklahoma, Ronald (Donna) Fuller of Florida, Russell (Monica) Fuller of Creve Coeur, Marty (Layla) Fuller of Florida, Christofer Fuller and Beverly Fuller, both of Pekin and several nieces and nephews.

He worked at Caterpillar, Inc. in East Peoria as a machinist for over 40 years, retiring in 2015.

Mike enjoyed fishing, camping, canoeing and scuba diving. He also enjoyed sailing and riding motorcycles. He was previous member of the Freedom Valley A.B.A.T.E. as well as Riders with Heart. He always had an adventure and a story to tell, for example, his time living in Nevada looking for ghost towns, prospecting for gold and milking snakes.

Mike was a collector of many things and a jack of all trades. He could fix just about anything and if he couldn't, he would create a way to make it work. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a hand to help someone out.

He was a man of strong faith and a member of Creve Coeur Christian Church.

A gathering celebrating Mike’s life will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2024 at Creve Coeur Christian Church.

Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
