Michael Lewis Green Sr.

Born May 30, 1960 in Peoria, he was a son of Charles M. and Margaret J. (Plice) Green, Sr. His parents preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by one brother, Charles M. Green, Jr. and one sister, Dawn Green.

Surviving are four children, Tori Bushong of Peoria, Micheal (Rick Radford) Green of Pekin, Michael L. Green, Jr. of Peoria and Brandon L. Green of Pekin and eleven grandchildren, Chelsea Taylor, Karson Bradford, Azlynn Bradford, Karter Bradford, Tynslei Schlueter, Kaleb Green, Journei Green, Parker Green, Ava Bradford, Devin Bradford and Madison Plante.

Michael was a veteran of the United States Army.

He worked self-employed in construction for 35 years before retiring in 2012.

Michael loved spending time with family, his grandchildren made his life. He also enjoyed fishing, traveling and riding his Harley Davidson.

His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Steve Weber will officiate. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin, with military rites accorded by the United States Army and Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team.
